Dr. Alicia Gilmore is a pastor, high school Math teacher, and small business owner. She’s also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She founded and pastored Word of Truth Outreach Ministries in Perry, Georgia for three years before accepting the position as the Pastor of Davis Hill's Word of Truth Outreach Ministries (formerly Davis Hill Baptist Church). A voice for the voiceless, one who dares to stand up boldly to declare a message of hope, truth, and prosperity – compelling the attention of those who seek to discover their purpose in life and launch their destiny.

Dr. Alicia is fueled by a passion to fulfill God’s mandate for these turbulent times. Her thrust on character building by merging spirituality with everyday living provokes people to pursue a life of integrity. Wherever she goes, Gilmore exhorts and encourages her listeners to deepen their intimacy with God and arise to their divine calling and destiny.

Dr. Alicia Gilmore was raised in Houston County and attended the Houston County school system where she now teaches. She completed her undergraduate studies at  Albany State University. She completed her Masters and Doctorate in Education at Northcentral University. She credits her mother with instilling a reverence for God in her heart at an early age. She’s often quoted as saying that her mother, Annie Mae Clark, is the closest thing to God that she’s seen on this earth. Further stating that her mother has always been her number one fan and critic making certain that she adheres to the Word of God for it is always about kingdom business!

In talking with her it becomes apparent that “she understands, she’s been there, and she knows how to get out”! Her story is one of struggle and triumph, poverty and prosperity. She has been called a Motivator, having risen up from the ashes of divorce and financial hardship to dedicate her life to pulling others out of their circumstances so that they can focus in on God’s unique plan of destiny for their lives.

Not afraid to deal with hard, relevant issues, Dr. Alicia preaches in-your-face messages that have drawn women and men to her services and events. Dr. Gilmore's “The Masquerade Is Over” conference, which was held in October 2006, drew over 15 different ministries. The focus of the conference was to promote fellowship among all women of the body of Christ while taking off the various masks that we have been made to wear for fear of showing others who we truly are and where we’ve truly come from.  Through the direction of God “The Masquerade Is Over” has now become an annual event. In the midst of it all, she has not swayed from her mission. She readily and candidly shares, “It’s not about my business; it’s about KINGDOM business.”
